I havn't read all the points yet that link 1 to 7 but didn't she say quite early that she wanted it to be a ten book series? And if she only moved the main case and everything else stayed the same, isn't it still quite possible she was looking at those cases an thought, No the Story about the unknown author fits better as book two? I'm pretty sure she knows all the ten cases she wanted for the books but I'm not sure she was really fixed on the Order?
