I can echo Katja in our first “meeting” online in the B&N University course, but then in person at the first LeakyCon in Boston in 2011. Subsequently, many wonderful conversations and much appreciation of YOUR artistry as literary guide as you have unpacked JKR’s genius in the last 12+ years. Always a privilege, my brother in Christ, and a most MERRY Christmas to you, Mary and the rest of the Granger fam! 🎄🎁🎉

All my favorite people are in the comment threads today! Who knew that the BNU course would win me such lasting friendships...

I hope someday, Christina, someone writes a Potter fandom Rom-Com that takes place at the first LeakyCon. The scene in which you take charge of the disaster of scheduling and AV provision that was my 'Featured Speaker' talk there, the only presentation to that large a crowd to have been squeezed into a room shaped like a passenger aircraft, will be the funniest -- and the perfect occasion for the two love interests to meet or to fight or to get back together, however the screenwriter decides to position it in the story-arc. Thank you as always for making that debacle into one of my happiest Potter Mania memories.

A Merry Christmas to you and yours and a 'Happy New Year!' wish from all of us ion Oklahoma!

John - I "met" you first online with the B&N University series, and then in real life at All Saints in Chicago a few years later. It's hard to comprehend that 20+ years have gone by in the interim! In any case, I wish you and your family a blessed and joyous Nativity!

Thank you, Katja. Wow, the BUN classes online... That takes me back a bit, back when the idea of literary alchemy was considered a real stretch.

Please give my love and season's greetings to Fr Patrick and company at All Saints!
